From Workshop to Partnership: Horizon Mold’s Integrated Die-Casting Mold Frame Passes Strict Japanese Acceptance
Date : 2026-05-15

On May 12, a team of experts from Ahresty in Hamamatsu, Japan, visited Horizon Mold to inspect and accept an integrated die-casting mold frame project that Horizon had been working on. This visit was not only a serious test of Horizon’s manufacturing capabilities, but also an important opportunity to deepen technical cooperation between the two sides.

During the visit, the Ahresty team went deep into the production workshop. They carefully checked the cavity accuracy, cooling system layout, and surface quality of the integrated die-casting mold frame that was being machined. Using CMM measurements and full-scale laser scanning, the key tolerances of the mold frame were consistently kept within ±0.02mm, fully meeting Japanese technical standards. The expert team also spoke highly of Horizon’s temperature-controlled workshop, high-precision machining centers, and adaptive compensation system, noting that the process system is mature and the process control is rigorous. What’s worth mentioning is that the delivered integrated die-casting mold frame used an optimized thermal deformation control solution, which performed excellently in ensuring the molding stability of large thin-walled die-cast parts.

In the end, the integrated die-casting mold frame passed the acceptance smoothly. The two sides also reached a preliminary intention to jointly develop larger tonnage mold frames in the future. This successful acceptance further strengthened Horizon Mold’s international competitiveness in the high-end integrated die-casting mold frame field, and laid a solid foundation for expanding into the Japanese and Southeast Asian markets.
