A six-axis high-precision deep-hole drilling machine with a 50-ton table load capacity has just been installed and commissioned at Horizon Mold’s shop, and it’s already running trial parts. When the machine first landed, quite a few of the senior machinists gathered around it. What makes it stand out is that it can drill deep holes, mill, and handle dual-angle compound frames and hole patterns.

On May 12, a team of experts from Ahresty in Hamamatsu, Japan, visited Horizon Mold to inspect and accept an integrated die-casting mold frame project that Horizon had been working on.
